Gyldenholt Events

Great Western War Gyldenholt PotLuck 2008 Greetings unto the Populace of the fair Barony of Gyldenholt! Their Excellencies, Ursul Vladislavl' Pravnuk and Collette de Montpellier wish to invite the populace to participate and attend a Baronial Pot Luck supper at Great Western War on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. This would be a great opportunity to meet and greet your shiny new Baron and Baroness and to mingle with your fellow Gyldenholters! The Ladies of the Court will be assisting Their Excellencies in hosting this event and we would be happy to help you in any way. Now, down to the good stuff! The donation of comestibles, cheesy and otherwise, would be most welcome (with a nod to Monty Python's Cheese Shop Sketch*). We will need your donated foods to cover the following categories: v Appetizers & Crudités v Salads (green, macaroni, vegetable, fruit) v Breads & Herb Butter v Main Dishes (meat) v Desserts v Beverages (* No Venezuelan Beaver Cheese, please.) If you would be so kind as to contact me off list at ettaskid7@yahoo.com or call me at 714.496.8118 so I can keep a list to make sure we're not all Salad and Dessert (although, that does not sound too bad). So far, we have a most excellent Beef Stew with cheese dumplings being prepared by our Baroness. The Barony will be providing table cloths and some serving utensils; however, we are in need of folding tables to borrow for this event. Please let me know if you will be able to loan one. We also encourage you to bring your table lanterns as we want to illuminate the dining tables with as much candlepower as possible. Likewise, you will need to bring your own feast gear and seating.
