The list below describes each of the different groups, where and when they meet and who is in charge of the group. Most also have their own mailing lists that people can join to always be up to date on meeting changes or upcoming themes. If you're new to a group be sure to contact the guild leader to get all necessary information and find out if you need any supplies of your own in order to participate.

ARCHERY - A guild which practices shooting recurve, longbow and crossbow as well as the construction of associated gear and research into period practice. See this Page for more info.
Practice is every Sunday, 10:00am at Mile Square Park Archery Range in Fountain Valley.

HEAVY WEAPONS PRACTICE - A group which practices and recreates 12th century armored foot combat, simulated by rattan weapons. Pell training, unarmored instruction and casual armoring activities are common.
Meets weekly on Tuesday nights 7:30pm, at Murdy Community Park, 7000 Norma Dr., Huntington Beach.

RAPIER - A guild which practices and recreates late 15th and early 16th century civil combat, simulated by epees, schlagers, and practice rapiers. There is also a web site just for Caid's Rapier enthusiasts. See Caid Rapier Practices.

THROWN WEAPONS - A group that engages in thrown weapons practice and competitions, using knives, axes, and spears. The group is open to adults and children of all ages, though minors do require parents present. For more information about this growing Gyldenholt activity, visit this page.

YOUTH COMBAT - Introduces youth combatants to etiquette, chivalric behavior, calibration, and techniques. They will gain a beginning level understanding of the terminology used, including field commands.
At least one parent/guardian must be present during the Practices.

GUARDIANS OF THE GOLDEN GROVE - The Baronial heavy weapons and rapier fighting units made up of those members of the Barony who share an interest in group combat. For more information visit the Guardians Page.

SERGEANTS OF GYLDENHOLT - The Barony's honor guard formed of members of heavy weapon and archery combatants who have completed a number of tasks which prove their suitability for this honorary rank.

BARDIC CIRCLE GUILD - A guild which researches and recreates period vocal arts. People are encouraged to participate, but you are also welcome to just sit and enjoy the performances.

BREWERS - The Gyldenholt Brewers Guild is open to anyone interested in brewing, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. For more information join the Brewers Discussion Group.
Meets on various Sundays in the city of Orange. Attendees must be over 21 for meetings involving alcoholic beverages. Contact the Guild Mistress for dates and times.

NEWCOMERS - A guild formed to instruct new members and potential members in the customs, practices and resources of the Society and to make them comfortable in these current middle ages.

PAGEANTRY GROUP - A guild that focuses on courtly displays and entertainment involving flag twirling, drumming, and other performing arts.

PEWTERERS GUILD - A group which researches and teaches medieval pewter casting techniques. Guild activities include creating personal favors, trinkets, and badges as well as making site tokens for events. All skill levels are welcome as the guild learns and practices new techniques together.
Meets the fourth Thursday of every month in Huntington Beach or Laguna Hills from 7-9pm. Ask for directions.

SCRIBES GUILD - A guild which researches and recreates period scribal arts including calligraphy and illumination. You will also find more information on the College of Scribes Webpage. Currently working on painting promisory notes.

The Kingdom Scribal Guild meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month in Costa Mesa.

TEXTILE GUILD - A guild which researches and recreates all manners of period textile crafts, including spinning, weaving, needle work, etc. No experience necessary.
